isn't it interesting how sometimes you get all these deep insightful thoughts while you're showering? well, at least i do. i'd figure i'd share some here.
i realized today that in my many years of college i haven't so much become more intelligent as i have learned to sound more intelligent. which i suppose makes sense because a large part of being an academic is speaking the language of academics. for example, in a conversation i might say something like "i don't know if he did such-and-such on purpose." but in a paper or in a discussion with a professor, i'd say, "i question the intentionality of his actions." so basically, i've spent several years and thousands of my parents' dollars to learn to use big words. great.

MY little baby brother thinking about rElAtIoNsHiPs?!?!?! the sky is falling!! that's not to say that i think of you as an eunuch or something--that would be gross-- but it's just a little weird to think that everyone is indeed growing up. i think you've been a great big brother and gay best friend to your girl friends and you definitely should keep it up. i don't think that it'll come back to bite you in the butt in the end because many girls are looking for an ungay gay best friend type boyfriend, if that makes any sense. besides, i think when you find a girl that just sweeps you off your feet, your debonaire don juan side will just automatically emerge. plus, then you'll have all these girl friends to get advice and "the female perspective" from. of course, i am the queen female and all i say goes, so make sure you run everything by me first before applying, just in case.

Seriously though, while the ability to sound intellectual is definitely an asset, I think the ability to decipher another "intellectual's" babbling and realize that they're an idiot is even more important.
